How to Find an American WordPress Website Designer in Orange County

I love America. I really do. But sometimes, I feel like I’m living in a different country. Maybe even a different planet. One where people aren’t as open-minded, and the differences in culture are more apparent. Let’s be honest, moving to America was a massive culture shock. It still is. But the good thing is that you can find the helpful, kind, and generous people here. Just like anywhere else. If you know where to look. And what to ask for. Because, believe it or not, the service industry here in America is still largely based on human decency and kindness. You just need to know the right questions to ask. And how to behave.

Every day, I want to come home to my wife and kids and say “that’s it, I’ve had enough. Today, I’m going to be the best American I can be.” I believe in the American dream. And I still do. But sometimes, I wonder if I’ll ever feel completely at home here. Like, will I ever feel American?

The Search

Before we begin, I should probably mention that I did a lot of research, before taking on this project. I read a ton of articles, and talked to people in the know. I wanted to make sure I found someone who was a good fit for my needs. Because I’m not looking for someone who’s good at everything. I’m looking for someone who’s good at what I need. Someone who’s kind of like me. Someone I can trust.

Even though I live in America, I still go through an Israeli visa process. I’m not exactly sure how those work. But I have family in Israel, and we often visit. It would be great to live there, and be able to visit the country I love so much. Still, I feel like a stranger in a strange land when I go through the customs at the airport, or sit on an Israeli bus. I still feel like a tourist wherever I go. Even though I’m an American. Even though I was born and raised here. It’s the country I love so much, but sometimes it feels like a different country. A country I’m not sure I’ll ever feel at home in.

The Budget

Budget is always a key consideration. Especially if you’re looking for a long-term engagement or partnership. One of the first things you’ll want to ask a potential business partner is how much they’ll charge you per hour. This will give you an idea of how much you can budget for. It’s also worth considering how much you’ll need to budget for. If you decide that your budget will allow for a higher price per hour, then great. But you might want to consider what your budget can’t afford. Like, expensive office equipment you won’t need. Or trips to Thailand you won’t be able to afford. Consider every dollar and every bit of help you can get. It’s always worth asking. Especially if you’re looking for a good fit.

The Need

What do you need? Your needs are usually based on your personal situation. So you’ll want to consider what you need to fill your life with meaning and purpose. If you’re looking for a way to make a living, you’ll want to consider what you need to make that happen. There are plenty of ways to find a living that doesn’t involve getting a job. Like, if you’ve got a good name in the industry, and are willing to build on that reputation, you can start your own business, and work your tail off. There are many ways to make a living that doesn’t involve working for someone else. So you’ll want to consider what you need to fill your life with joy and purpose. If you need a reason to get out of bed in the morning, you’ll want to consider what you need to make that happen. Happiness is a decision you make in each moment. So is satisfaction. And if you’re not getting those two vibes from your work, it’s time for a change. Even if it’s not what you initially wanted to do.

These are all important questions to ask, before entering into any kind of business arrangement. No matter what kind you’re looking for. Because not all partnerships, and collaborations are created equal. Some are simply business arrangements, while others are meant to be a fulfilling, mutually beneficial experience. You don’t want to rush into anything, without thinking through the pros and the cons. Because, believe it or not, every situation, and every relationship is different. No formula here. Just be sure to ask the right questions, so you can make the right decision for you, and your family. If you need help sorting through all of this, feel free to reach out. I’m always here to help.
