How to Use Dragify With WordPress and Hosting on One-Time Hosting

Most people think that they need a high-priced web host to use WordPress. But the truth is, you can use the ever-popular blogging platform with just about any web host. The key is in how you set up your WordPress website. And thanks to a new feature called Dragify, all you need is a domain and hosting to get started.

Here’s how to use Dragify with WordPress and hosting on one-time hosting.

Step 1. Get a Domain Name and Hosting

One of the first things you need to do is secure a domain name for your blog. You can use one of the many reputable domain name registrars, such as 1and1, GoDaddy, or NameCheap, to get your web address. Just make sure that you register your domain name with the same company that you’ll use for hosting.

As for the hosting, again, you have a variety of options. You can use one of the many reputable shared hosting companies, like Bluehost, Hostgator, or WordPress.com, to get started. Just make sure that you register your domain name with the same company that you’ll use for hosting.

If you’re going with one of the above companies, you’ll have to decide whether you want a free or a premium account. The premium option usually costs you less, but gives you more features. You’ll have to decide what’s most important to you. And once you’ve made that decision, all you need to do is activate your account.

Step 2. Install WordPress

With your domain name and hosting in place, it’s time to install WordPress. To do this, visit https://wordpress.com/ and click the “Download WordPress” button at the top of the screen. Install the WordPress app to your phone’s home screen, then open it up and click the “Install WordPress” button. (On a desktop, click the “Visit WordPress.com” button and then click the “Install WordPress” button in the top right corner of the page.)

Once installed, click the “Visit WordPress.com” button to launch the WordPress.com dashboard. From here, you can click the “Settings” button to get to the WordPress settings screen. On this screen, you can decide what kind of content you want to display on your blog. When you’re happy with the settings, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Save Changes” button. Your blog is now set up with WordPress.

Step 3. Create your blog posts

Now that your WordPress blog is set up, it’s time to write some content. To do this, visit https://wordpress.com/ and create a blog post. Once you’ve written your post, click the “Preview” button to see how it looks. If you’re happy with the way things look, then click the “Publish” button. To edit an existing post, just click the “Edit” button next to the article.

Step 4. Install the WordPress Theme You Choose

You can find a variety of free and premium WordPress themes to choose from. If you want a simple yet effective theme to use, then check out the TwentyFourteen theme from Google. This theme is a cross between an elegant magazine and a blog post. When you install the theme, you’ll notice that it’s mobile-ready and comes with a variety of customization options.

If you’re looking for something a little more complex, try the Avada theme. This theme comes with a built-in drag-and-drop page builder that makes creating a website much easier. Plus, you can install the theme using a one-click installer that makes setting up your blog in just a few minutes.

Step 5. Customize the Look of Your Blog

As I mentioned above, WordPress comes with a variety of pre-made themes to choose from. But if you want to use your own photos for your blog’s design, then you can import them into WordPress from your phone’s photo library using the built-in photo uploader.

If you use the above-mentioned TwentyFourteen theme, then you’ll see that it already comes with a variety of different colors and background images you can use to customize the look of your blog.

If you decide that you like the look of Bluehost’s hosting service, you can use their WordPress importer tool to quickly and easily transfer your blog over to their platform. (But before you do this, make sure you’ve looked into their policies regarding blogs with paid content.)

Step 6. Publish Your Blog Post

Once you’ve edited your post and customized it with a theme, it’s time to publish it. Just click the “Drafts” button next to the article, then click the “Publish” button to go live.

That’s it! You now have a fully functioning WordPress blog with content you’ve published. To add more content, navigate to https://wordpress.com/ and click the “Add New” button at the top of the screen. To edit an existing post, visit https://wordpress.com/ and click the “Edit” button next to the article.

Step 7. Customize the Backend Of Your Blog

One more thing you can do with your WordPress blog is customize the back end. This is the part of the site that is meant to be hidden from the public, but you can still use to manage the content of your site. To do this, go to your dashboard, then click the “Settings” tab. From here, you can change a variety of settings to further enhance your blog’s functionality.

Step 8. Use the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Tool

If you want to grow your blog (and I mean seriously, who doesn’t?), then you should use the SEO tool that comes with WordPress. Just click the “Search” button at the top of your blog’s sidebar, then click the “Optimize” button. From here, you can select any of the top keywords from the organic search results and begin building out a plan to reach your target audience.

If you follow the above steps, then you’ll have a fully functioning WordPress blog in no time. With just a few clicks, you can have a domain name, hosting, and a completed WordPress blog in just a few minutes.
