How to Build a Fast WordPress Website in 30 Minutes

If you are looking to create a simple yet functional website in the next 30 minutes, then you have come to the right place. In this tutorial, we will take you step-by-step through the entire workflow of building a wordpress website, including setting up the page, installing WordPress, and finally, inserting some content.

Step 1: Choose A Domain

The first step is to choose a domain. We will use quickly.me for this example. If you are using GoDaddy, you can simply use their autosuggest to find a suitable domain. You can also search for words and phrases that are relevant to your site’s content to find the perfect match. Let’s take a look at the final step of our domain registration:

Step 2: Setup Email Accounts

After you have chosen a suitable domain, you will need to set up email accounts for your website. You can do this through your WordPress dashboard. Don’t worry, you don’t have to set up all of them right now. You can choose to use 1 email account for your website and let’sencourage you to do so. But before you make any changes to your WordPress dashboard, be sure to verify the email account that you will use for your website.

Step 3: Install WordPress

Once you have set up your email accounts, you can go back to your WordPress dashboard and click on the Install WordPress button.

This will take you to a page that will guide you through the process of installing WordPress.

Step 4: Activate WordPress

After you follow the on-screen instructions, you will be taken to a page that will ask you to verify your website’s name.

In order to do this, you will need to click on the Activate button.

This will change the color of the page to show that it has been activated successfully. You can now log in to your WordPress dashboard and begin creating your website.

Step 5: Create Your Homepage

You will now need to create your home page, which will be the first page that visitors see when they visit your website.

You can do this by clicking on the Welcome, New User button located at the top of your WordPress dashboard. You will then be shown a form that will allow you to enter the details of your site.

Once you have submitted the form, you will be taken to a page that will show you the contents of your new site.

You can add additional pages to your website by clicking on the Add new button located at the top of your WordPress dashboard. You will then be shown a form that will allow you to enter the details of your page.

When adding a new page, you will need to make sure that you use the right url structure. You can use the New Page option to create a static page with a unique url, or you can use the post option to create a post with a permalink that will automatically redirect to the specific page.

Step 6: Customize The Layout Of Your Website

The next step is to customize the layout of your website. You can do this by clicking on the Appearance tab at the top of your WordPress dashboard. You will then be able to choose from a variety of themes that will change the way your site looks.

The best thing about this step is that you can preview how your site will look without having to actually publish it. So, if you want to see how a given theme will look before you buy it, you can do so by clicking on the Live button next to the desired theme.

Step 7: Set Up Social Media Accounts

You can use the Appearance tab to set up social media accounts for your website too. When setting up social media accounts, you have the option of using either Instagram or Twitter for your username. You can also set up a Facebook page for your website, but we do not recommend this as your Facebook Page’s algorithm changes frequently which can hurt your rankings on search engines.

Step 8: Install WordPress Plugins

Now that your site is up and running, you can begin installing WordPress plugins that will make your site faster and more functional.

You can always find plugins that will extend the capabilities of WordPress, but we recommend keeping your plugins to a minimum.

Step 9: Insert Some Content

As we have established above, you can use the post option to create a new page and then edit the content that is already inserted into that page. You can also use the post option to create a new post and then edit the content that is already inserted into that post.

If you have purchased a premium theme, then you can simply go to the page that you want to edit and click on the edit button located at the top of the page. In the next window, you can then make changes to the content that you have inserted into the post.

If you’ve used the post option to create a blog post and then decided that you don’t want to publish it, you can simply click on the draft button located at the top of the page. This will save the post as a draft and you can then come back at any time to edit it and/or delete it.

Let’s take a look at how to create a new blog post:

Step 10: Create Your Blog Post

You can use the post option to create your blog post and then begin inserting some content into it. Let’s take a look at the form:

This will be the form that you will use to write your blog post. You can enter the details of your post in the appropriate fields and then begin inserting content into it. When inserting content, you will need to make sure that you maintain the right word count. You can use the Instagram button to either upload an image from your phone or computer, or you can use the Type option to either type or paste your content directly into the text field.

Once you have entered all of the content that you want to include in your post, you can click on the Publish button.

Step 11: Visit Your Blog Post

Once your blog post has been published, you can begin visiting it by simply going to the post page and then clicking on the read more button.

You will then be taken to the post’s page (i.e., the page that it is attached to). From here, you can click on any of the hyperlinks that are embedded in the post’s content to navigate to another page.
