How to Install WordPress in 1 Click with 1-Click-WordPress
WordPress is the world’s most popular Content Management System and the best choice for bloggers looking to build their own websites. Install it on your PC or Mac and create beautiful and professional-looking blogs in no time.
However, installing WordPress manually isn’t as easy as it should be. You’ll need to familiarize yourself with a variety of tools and apps to complete the process. Luckily for you, we’re here to make it a little easier. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to install WordPress in a simple 1-click process.
Step 1: Create a New WordPress Blog
The first step in the WordPress installation process is to create a new WordPress blog. To do this, visit https://wordpress.com/ and click the Get Started button. You’ll see a screen with the popular Dashboard. Click the Dashboard button to get to the WordPress dashboard. You’ll see a screen with four options: Install WordPress Multisite, Install WordPress Single Site, Set up a new blog, and Manage Existing Blogs.
If you’re running a WordPress blog and are looking for easier ways to monetize your content, consider exploring the following plugins:
- Payments Pro – Earn money with WordPress
- WordPress WooCommerce – Integrates WordPress with eCommerce for creating online stores
- Shopify – Easily sell your products online
- Stripe – Accept payments with credit cards or PayPal
Click the Install WordPress Plugin button to install the Payments Pro WordPress plugin. Once the plugin is installed, you can get to the Settings tab and configure the amount you want to get paid when someone makes a purchase. You’ll also need to set up a merchant ID to use with Stripe.
Step 2: Download and Install WordPress
The next step in the installation process is to download and install WordPress. Visit https://wordpress.com/ and click the Get Started button. You’ll see a screen with the popular Dashboard. Click the Dashboard button to get to the WordPress dashboard. Then, click the Download button to start the download. During the download process, you’ll get a notification when it’s finished.
Once the WordPress download is finished, you can start the installation process by clicking the Install button. You’ll see a screen with two options: Install alongside WordPress.com (recommended) or Install separately.
If you choose to install WordPress separately, you’ll have to enter a root password and create a new user with the default name of “administrator”. Once you’ve entered the correct information, click the Create User button to create your new WordPress user.
You’ll now be taken to a screen with two buttons: Go Back and Continue. If you want, you can click the Go Back button to review the information you entered and change your mind about whether or not to continue with the WordPress installation. Otherwise, click the Continue button to continue with the installation process.
Step 3: Configure the WordPress Database
The next step in the installation process is to connect WordPress to a database. If you don’t have a database already, you can create one with MySQL or SQLite.
You can choose the name of your database and the default table prefix, which is “wp_” (for MySQL) or “sqlite_” (for SQLite). Enter a password to protect your database and click the Save button. You’ll now be taken to a screen with three options: Install WordPress (recommended), Install from Zip File, or Continue Without Installing.
If you decide to install WordPress, you can click the Continue button to proceed to the next step. Otherwise, you can select the Install from Zip File option to download the WordPress files directly to your computer.
Step 4: Create a Folder for WordPress
The next step in the installation process is to create a folder for WordPress. On your computer, click the Windows button (or the Dashboard button on a Mac) and then click the Go button to display the Finder. In the Finder, click the Choose button to go to the Preferences screen. In the list of preferences that appears, click the Applications button and then click the Create New Folder button. An icon for the new folder will appear in the Finder.
Now that you have a new folder, you can drag and drop the WordPress files into it. To do this, open the Finder and click the WordPress folder you created. Drag the WordPress files into the folder and drop them on top of one another. When you drop the files, a check mark will appear next to the folder.
Step 5: Activate WordPress
After you’ve uploaded all the WordPress files to your computer, you can activate WordPress. Visit https://wordpress.com/ and click the Get Started button to see the popular Dashboard. Click the Dashboard button to get to the WordPress dashboard. From the WordPress dashboard, click the Settings icon and then click the Activate button to activate WordPress. You’ll see a screen with a message confirming that WordPress has been successfully activated.
