A lot of people are starting to see the potential of video content and how much it can do for a website. It can be highly engaging and can hopefully drive more traffic and conversions to a website. In today’s video tutorial, we will teach you the basics of creating a video-optimized blog website using the popular open source blogging software, WordPress.

Video Tutorial: Setting Up a New Blog With WordPress

First, you will be taking a quick tour of the WordPress dashboard. This is the central point of your blog where you will be able to manage all of the content that is published on it. In case you want to learn more about the dashboard, check out our in-depth guide on it:

After you have accessed the dashboard, click on the “Get Started” button to launch the WordPress installation wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions and choose a nice, strong password to protect your blog. You will need this password to log in to your blog in the future. When the installation is complete, you will be taken to the WordPress dashboard where you can start creating your blog. Let’s get to work.

To create a blog post, click on the “New Post” button on the dashboard. A small popup will appear with the post creation form. You can use this form to enter the text that you wish to appear in your blog post. Make sure that you fill in all of the necessary fields (especially the title) and then click on the “Publish” button.

You have now published your first blog post. Let’s take a moment to look at the different parts of this post. As you can see, there’s a lot of content here. Each piece of content is called a “blog post” and can be used to establish content on your blog. The most important part of a blog post are the headline and the first few paragraphs. They are what people will click on to learn more and hopefully convert to a lead or a sale.

Video Tutorial: Adding Images To Blog Posts

The previous step in the blog post creation process is to add an image. For this purpose, click on the “Media” tab on the dashboard. You will then see the images that you have uploaded to your WordPress account previously. Below this tab, you will see a block of empty space. This is where you can add images to your blog posts. To add an image, click on the “Choose File” button and then browse your computer to find the image that you wish to use. Make sure that the image you choose is of a good quality and that it fits the theme and style of your blog.

Once you have found an image that you like, click on it to open it in a new tab. Then, come back to the WordPress dashboard and click on the “Add Media” button below the tab with the image you just added. This will pop up another dialog where you can add more images or videos to your post.

The previous step described how to add an image to a blog post. The same principles apply to other content. For example, if you want to add a quote to a blog post, you will follow the same procedure. You will find the quote in a similar way (via the “Media” tab on the dashboard), choose the “Add Media” button, and then search for the quote that you need.

To add a table of contents to a blog post, click on the “More” tab and then click on the “Table of Contents” item in the dropdown menu. A new, formatted table of contents will appear below.

You can add a menu to the top of your blog post by clicking on the “More” tab and then on the “Menu” item in the dropdown menu. You will then see a form with all the options for a horizontal or vertical menu.

To add a YouTube video to a blog post, click on the “Media” tab to access the dashboard. Then, click on the “Add Media” button and select “YouTube video” from the dropdown menu. You can now type in a title for your YouTube video and choose a tag for it. After that, you will need to copy and paste the URL of the video into your blog post (make sure that you do this exactly as it is appears in the YouTube video player):
