How to Easily Deploy a WordPress Website to ENOM Hosting

You have decided to create a website for your business or company and are looking for a reliable web host to do so. You have considered several options including choosing a web hosting provider in Hong Kong, since you are based in Asia and do not want to overwhelm yourself with additional tasks. However, you are not in Hong Kong, and you are looking for an option that is closer to your location.

You are in luck, because ENOM Hosting provides a shared hosting plan that is perfectly suited for your needs. This hosting plan allows you to launch a WordPress blog and begin content sharing and marketing on the web immediately. In addition, you get a free domain name and unrestricted email accounts with the hosting plan. Most importantly, the support is excellent, meaning you will not have to go through a lot of trouble to get your site up and running optimally.

Before you begin setting up your site, you will have to pick a blog platform. There are several options to choose from and you will need to make a decision depending on your needs. If you are looking for a free platform with excellent support, the platform is a great choice since it is open source and widely supported. In addition, WordPress is extremely easy to use and set up, even for beginners. If you are looking for a more advanced or professional-looking site, you may want to consider choosing a premium platform such as Shopify or Wix, as these platforms offer advanced features and are able to create stunning websites with many different designs and layouts. However, if you are looking for a simple blog with just the basics, WordPress is exactly what you need. You can also use free platforms like Google Blogger or Microsoft Blogger, but these platforms are limited in functionality and do not offer the same level of support that you get with a premium platform like WordPress.

Step 1: Register for a Free Account

To get started, you will need to visit the ENOM Hosting website and register for a free account. In the next step, you will need to choose a password and confirm it, after which you will be able to use the service without restrictions. You do not have to rush into selecting a password, as this step is simply to verify that you are a human and not a spam bot or a computer program that is trying to access the service illegally. Once you log in, you will see a dashboard with several key sections including Blogs, Clients, Orders, and Tools. For the sake of this tutorial, we will cover the Blogs section first.

Step 2: Set Up Your Blog

From the Blogs section, you will want to click on the +Add New button to start a blog. You will then be brought to the Blog Setup page, where you can choose an alias name for your blog (something similar to your website’s URL name) and fill in the other information as required. One of the key things to note here is that you must select a Blog platform to continue to the next step. If you are using WordPress as your blog platform of choice, you will need to select the General option, as shown in the screenshot below:

This will bring you to the General Settings page of your newly set up blog. Here you can enter the blog’s title, description, and so on. In addition, you can select any of the three options for the blog’s layout:

  • Standard: The standard blog layout is a simple and easy to use blog layout that features a scrolling news feed with blog posts attached to it. This is the most common option and the one that most developers and businesses choose since it is very easy to implement. As the name suggests, the standard blog layout is not customizable and only available in the boxed or tabular formats.
  • Metro: The metro blog layout features a large image at the top with a small blog roll below it. The image is made up of large boxes with short headlines describing the blog posts inside them. The metro blog layout is customizable and can be used in both the boxed and tabular formats. However, the most interesting thing about the metro blog layout is that it is completely unique in design and cannot be found in any other platform. This is due to the fact that Enom Hosting has made significant changes to the WordPress codebase to produce this unique design. Therefore, if you are looking for a completely fresh new look for your blog to stand out, you may want to consider the metro blog layout.
  • Minimal: The minimal blog layout is very similar to the metro layout, but instead of large image boxes, it features a large headline and a short excerpt from the blog post below it. Like the metro blog layout, the minimal blog layout is completely unique and can only be found on the platform. You may find this option appealing if you are looking for a simple and clean blog design that does not feature a lot of multimedia elements. In addition, you can use the minimal blog layout in both the boxed and tabular formats.

Once you have made your selection, click on the Save button at the bottom to continue to the next step.

Step 3: Activate Your Blog

After you have set up your blog with a General Settings page, you will be brought to the Blog’s Dashboard page. From there, you can click on the active button to activate your blog. Doing this will make your blog available for use by others, although you will still need to fill in the content yourself. Once you have activated your blog, you will see a confirmation screen in case you want to make further changes to it before moving on to Step 4.

Step 4: Start Publishing Your Blog Post

Now that your blog is set up, you can start putting content on it. From the Blog’s Dashboard page, you can click on the +New Page button to create a new page or you can click on a blog post’s name to bring up that post’s details. To write a new blog post, you will first need to pick a category to put it into (most blogs are usually organized by category), followed by picking a subcategory to put the post into. Once the post is written and submitted, you will see it appear on your blog’s home page or the dashboard, depending on which option you used to set it up. To finish, simply click on the Publish button to make your post live on the web.

As you can see above, the process of setting up a new blog on the WordPress platform is extremely simple and easy to follow. In addition, since WordPress is an open source project, you will have the opportunity to look over the code itself to see how things work and make modifications if necessary. This is certainly an option worth exploring if you are interested in creating or updating a WordPress blog.
