How to Install WordPress on Ipage Hosting Plan

If you’re looking for a one-stop-shop for all your web hosting needs, then you’ve come to the right place. We’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of installing WordPress on a new Ipage shared hosting account so you can begin blogging right away! Let’s get started.

Step 1: Visit the Ipage Website

If you’ve never been to iPage before, you may be wondering where to go from here. Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. First, make sure you’ve got their latest web hosting offer in mind. Once you’ve settled on a plan that has everything you need, continue to their shared hosting section where you’ll discover a number of different plans to choose from. You can also check out their reseller hosting plans if you’re looking to host a client’s website for them.

Step 2: Sign Up For An Ipage Account

If you’ve decided on the iPage shared hosting plan, log in to your dashboard and click on the Get Started button. You’ll be taken to their payment page where you can choose to pay with a credit card or via PayPal. You’ll also need to set up a PayPal account if you don’t have one already – PayPal is basically required if you want to make any kind of purchase online.

Step 3: Review Your Choose Details

Now that you’ve paid and everything is in order, it’s time to take a look at your new iPage account. On the right side of the dashboard, you’ll see a list of information about your account. The first thing you should do is go through this list and make sure everything is accurate and correct. If you feel like something is missing or if there’s something you don’t understand, contact Customer Service immediately.

Step 4: Install WordPress

Once you’ve confirmed all the account details, it’s time to download and install WordPress. On the right side of the dashboard, you’ll see a button that looks like this: Install WordPress Now. Simply click on it and you’ll be taken to a screen that asks you to enter your email address. Once you’ve entered your email, you’ll see a shortcode that you can use to create a free WordPress account. Copy and paste this shortcode into any post or page in your WordPress dashboard and you’ll see a message that your account is now activated. It only takes a few seconds to set up your WordPress account and you can begin using it right away!

Step 5: Activate Your WordPress Account

After you’ve set up your WordPress account, it’s time to activate it. To do this, go back to your dashboard and click on the gear icon in the top right corner. From here, you’ll be able to select the Settings option in the menu. Choose General Settings from the drop-down menu and then enter a password for your WordPress account. Once you’ve entered a password, click on the Check Login Details button located at the bottom of the page. You can also decide whether you want to allow login via social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.) or not. After you’ve confirmed your login details, visit the Dashboard option in the menu and you’ll see that your WordPress account has been successfully activated. Congratulations! You’ve now officially installed WordPress on your Ipage account.

Step 6: Configure WordPress To Your Needs

Let’s assume you’ve just installed WordPress on your Ipage account. What now? You’ve got a brand new platform that you can use to grow your blog. The most important thing now is to figure out how you want the platform to work and how you want to use it. There are a lot of different features that come pre-installed with WordPress, so you don’t have to worry about overloading it with features that you don’t need. The good news is that you can always download and install a different theme from the WordPress dashboard if you don’t like the default look of the platform. Let’s take a look at some of the things you can do to configure and use WordPress effectively.

Edit Your Posts And Pages

One of the first things you’ll want to do is edit your posts and pages to fit your theme and brand. To do this, head over to the Post section of your WordPress dashboard. From here, you can click on Edit Post to open up a page that allows you to make changes to the content within it. Remember: the Edit Post page is different from your WordPress dashboard. The former is used to make basic changes to the content within a post while the latter is used to upload content and make changes to the appearance of your site. To add a new post, simply click on the New Post button located in the bottom right corner of the Edit Post page. When you’ve entered the details for your new post, press the Submit button to post your content.

You can also find and edit posts using the Search option at the top of your WordPress dashboard. Simply enter your search terms and hit the Search button. You’ll see a list of results that you can then click on to open up the Edit Post page for that particular article.

Manage Your Content

One of the great things about WordPress is the amount of free templates and plugins you get to use for free. This encourages people to write content for your site because they know it’ll be easy to set up and will make their life easier. You can use this content to grow your blog and to eventually monetize it. The choice is yours.

Some of the things you can do with WordPress to manage your content are:
