Images Upload but Don’t Show Up on Website – WordPress
I have a WordPress website where users can upload images to be featured on the home page in a slider. The issue is that the images don’t appear on the site when they’re uploaded. I have double-checked the image file names and the sizes are all correct. The files are definitely there. I have no idea why the images won’t show up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update:
I have tried several different solutions so far with no luck. Here are the solutions that I have tried:
Solution 1:
I changed the settings in the WordPress Admin Panel to “Use image uploader from CDN (Content Delivery Network)”. This is the first solution that I tried. I think that this might be related to the issue, but I’m not sure. If anyone has any experience with this solution, I would greatly appreciate your input.
Solution 2:
I deleted the line of code in functions.php that was previously preventing caching. I also changed the template file to use short-codes for buttons instead of images. I don’t know if these two things will help, but I’m putting them in just in case. It’s also possible that they’re unrelated and that I simply needed to empty my cache.
If none of these solutions work, I will be forced to use a different image uploader (which I would rather not do).
Solution 3:
I changed the settings in the WordPress Admin Panel to “Force SSL for all pages”. I also changed the settings in the WP_Config file to “force SSL”. Hopefully, this will make sure that all of my web pages are encrypted and that users have to go through https:// in order to visit my site. Maybe this will fix the issue. I’m not sure.
If none of these solutions work, I will be forced to use a different image uploader (which I would rather not do).
Solution 4:
Finally, I used a different image uploader and had the same issue. The images still would not appear on the site.
In the end, I gave up and went back to the original image uploader. At least this one works as expected (which is probably why I chose it in the first place).
Original Image Uploader:
I used to use the Avada theme on my site. One of the features of this particular theme is that it has an image uploader built in. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something similar. I had no issues with this particular image uploader at all. It worked exactly as I expected it to work. I was able to upload images and have them appear on the site without any issues. I even changed the template file to use the image uploader and had the same issue (but to my knowledge, there was no template file). So, I guess it really is a matter of finding the right combination of settings and template files.
Final Thoughts:
After a long search, I have come up with a possible solution to my problem (even though it may not be the problem itself). I have updated my articles with this new information. Hopefully, it will help someone else out there who is also having this issue. I have also decided to write an article explaining my findings in more detail. So, if you’re interested, please feel free to read below.

I love how simple yet effective the original image uploader is. It only has two settings to change and the images appear immediately in my WordPress dashboard. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something similar.

How can we improve Digital Marketing?
I work in Digital Marketing and help others improve their digital marketing skills. One of the main things that I focus on is making sure the content that the client creates is relevant and of high quality. I also focus on finding and using the right keywords in the right amounts. However, none of these things matter if the content that is delivered to the viewer is of bad quality. So, let’s say that you’re a digital marketer and you’ve been tasked with creating a blog post on the topic of video marketing. One of your coworkers has just submitted a blog piece on the same topic. Naturally, you want to find the weaknesses of your coworker’s article and try to improve it. Before you start making any changes, though, you should ask yourself: Is this content that is useful to the person that is reading it?
Now, let’s say that you’ve identified a major weakness in your coworker’s content. Perhaps they’ve used the wrong words or presented the information in too much detail. Whatever the case may be, you’ve found a problem with their content and you’re considering whether or not to make changes. Before you start editing the content, though, you should have the following in mind:
- Know what you’re changing
- Know the exact problem (Try to eliminate possible errors)
- Make sure that what you’re changing is relevant to the person reading it
- Check for any unintended consequences
- Have a clear purpose in mind
- Use your own words
- Avoid jargon
