Set The Theme
First things first—you need to set the theme for your website. To do this, navigate to Settings > General Settings > Theme. You’ll see a choice of themes there. To change the theme, simply click on the one you want to use. You’ll then be brought to a page with the code needed to make it active on your site. This can be a bit challenging if you’re not used to writing code, but it’s not difficult. There are many different themes to choose from, so you’re bound to find something that suits your needs perfectly.
Use The Theme

To remove widgets from your side bar, simply hover over the area with your mouse and click on the – symbol that appears next to each widget. Bring It All Together
Now that you’ve updated your header and sidebar, it’s time to bring it all together. Go back to Settings > General Settings > Theme. On the left-hand side, you’ll see a check box for Show Preview. Check it if you want to see what your site looks like before publishing it.
