Where is \”WordPress Tools\” in My Hosting Account?
One of the most useful plugins for WordPress is WordPress Tools. This plugin makes managing and inspecting your WordPress site a lot easier. It provides you with a set of tools that are very helpful for WordPress users. You can use these tools to check the usage statistics of your posts, find duplicate content, and more! In this article, we will show you where you can find the “WordPress Tools” plugin in your host’s dashboard and how to activate it.
Where to Find WordPress Tools in Your Hosting Dashboard
If you’ve installed WordPress on your own hosting account, you’ll find the WordPress Tools option in the plugins section of the dashboard. You can access this dashboard by going to Tools in the top menu and then selecting the dashboard icon. When you do this, you’ll see a screen like the one in the image below.
As you can see, the plugins section of the dashboard is divided into four boxes. The first three boxes are for adding new plugins, managing existing plugins, and activating plugins, respectively. The last box is for showing the WordPress Tools option.
If you’ve installed WordPress on a shared hosting account, the dashboard for that instance of the software will look slightly different. In this case, you’ll see only the three boxes that are directly above the dashboard’s menu.
You can still access the WordPress Tools option by going to Tools in the top menu and then selecting the Dashboard icon. After doing this, you’ll see the screen below.
As you can see, the only difference between a shared and an own hosting account is the location of the WordPress Tools box in the dashboard. In a shared hosting account, this option will be shown in a different place in the dashboard than in an own hosting account. In either case, though, once you select Tools from the dashboard’s menu you’ll see the same options that are displayed below.
How to Activate WordPress Tools in Your Hosting Dashboard
To use the WordPress Tools plugin, you first need to activate it in your hosting dashboard. You can do this by going to Tools in the top menu and then selecting the + icon. When you do this, you’ll see a screen like the one below. Here, you’ll see that the plugin is activated but it still has no content. To add content to this page, you need to click on the Add New button. A prompt will then appear, asking you to choose a template for your content.
You can choose between the Blog and Website templates. Once you make this selection, the content editor will open where you can start adding content to the website or blog. Once you’ve added content to your site, you can click on the Update button located at the bottom of the page to save your content.
