How to Find Your Website’s Website Information Form URL

When you designed your website, you probably chose a web host that automatically gives you a unique URL when you register. When someone clicks on that unique URL, they are taken to your website.”>

But what if you want to provide additional information about your website? Maybe you want to allow customers to contact you about your product? Or maybe you even want to provide instructions on how to use your site?

With so many websites out there, how do you find the information you need? Let’s explore.

The Plain Old Text (Title)

If you want to find the URL of your website’s contact information form, you would probably search for it using the web browser’s built-in search engine. For example, if you’re using Firefox, you would search for “[insert your website’s URL] contact form”.

You would then see a list of websites that match your search criteria. Depending on your search engine preferences, you may see additional results that are not necessarily related to your search terms. For example, if you’re searching for “contact form”, you may see results for “contact” forms as well as “contact form” websites. When you see results that aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, you have the option of either skipping those results or using the back button to get back to search results that are more suitable.

In this case, it’s preferable to use the back button as you don’t want to visit any site that offers “contact” forms. If we go back to our search results and use the back button, we see that our search results have now changed. We’re no longer seeing results for [insert your website’s URL] contact form but instead are seeing “contact” form websites.

The Plain Old Text (Description)

The description meta tag is a small piece of information that appears on search engine result pages for websites. The description meta tag is important for two reasons. First, it appears below the URL in the search engine results page. Second, it’s often the first thing a potential customer sees when they visit a website. Since customers often have limited attention spans, a short, snappy description may be all they need to know about your product or service.

If you leave the description field blank, it is interpreted as “not available” by search engines. Thus, if you’re looking for information about camping equipment, you wouldn’t want to leave the description field on your [insert your website’s URL] contact form blank because there’s no way the search engine will know you’re selling camping equipment!

The H1 Header

An H1 header is a large heading used to structure a website’s content. The header is often used to highlight the important information a website contains. In our example above, we have a website called MyWebsite.com. When you visit the site, you’ll see the header “How to Find Your Website’s Website Information Form URL”. The H1 header is the largest in a website’s header and is used to highlight the importance of the content inside.

As you can see, the website uses an H1 header to highlight the unique URL for their contact form. When a visitor clicks on that link, they are taken to a form with all the information they need to contact the company. Thus, the H1 header in this case is quite important as it provides visitors with crucial contact information. If you leave the H1 header field blank, it is interpreted as “no title” by search engines.

You can use the H1 header in much the same way you would use a website’s navigation bar (which we’ll discuss in a moment). That is, you can use it to highlight important links or buttons on a website.

The Navigation Menu

A website’s navigation menu is an important bar that appears at the top of the screen once a page has been loaded. The navigation menu gives the user the ability to browse a website’s content without having to hunt for the desired page.

The navigation menu is a great place to put important links to other pages on the website or to the website’s social media accounts. Perhaps you want to link to a coupon for a special sale, a blog post about a new product or service, or even a FAQ page to answer frequently asked questions about your product or service. In any case, the navigation menu is a handy place to keep these essential links.

To create a new navigation menu, click on the menu icon (three dots) at the top of your browser’s toolbar. Then click on “Edit Menu” to create a new menu.

As you can see in the image above, the menu now has several options. We’ve only named a couple of the items here but, depending on your needs, you may have a menu filled with all sorts of useful links.

The Meta Tags

A website’s meta tags are a small piece of information that appear alongside a website’s content in a digital format (i.e., online or in an email). The meta tags are extremely important because they provide information to search engines about the content inside a website. When a search engine indexes a website, it examines the meta tags to see what’s inside. Thus, if you want your website to be found by customers who are looking for information about [insert your product or service], you’ll need to ensure that the meta tags for that website are filled out correctly.

To add a meta tag to your website’s header, first you need to click on the gear icon (cog) at the top of your browser’s toolbar. Then select “Settings”. Once in your settings, click on “Reading” to open up your browser’s bookmarks. Then click on “Add” to add a new bookmark. When you do this, a box will popup with a list of all the meta tags that can be used for that website. Select the one you want to use and click “Use this Tag” to add it to your website.

Meta tags are very important because they allow search engines to better understand what a website is about. If you leave the meta tags for your website blank, it is interpreted as “not provided” by search engines. Thus, if we go back to our search results for “[insert your product or service]” and look at the meta tags for one of the websites, we can see that it is indeed not providing any useful information about our search query.

Additional Tools

If you’ve ever shopped at an online store that has a community forum, you may have noticed that there’s a small tool in the upper right corner of the screen. You can click on this icon (forum) to access the store’s community forum where customers can post questions about the product or service, as well as receive answers from the community or the store owner. Most forums have a moderation tool so that everyone can read the discussion but only registered users can post. When a customer posts in the community forum, their name will appear above their post. This is because the forum software automatically identifies the user based on their email address.
